The New Offensive Line

Jackson really has football on the brain. This nativity set decorates the bathroom. In his version the holy family and wise men become the offensive line for a figure of Tom Brady.

December 28

While John and I made a feast for dinner, Jackson and Cooper play football in the snow. John took the picture from the deck.

December 27

We saw "I am Legend" this afternoon. Wow. It was great! It was very suspenseful, had a dog as a main character and a faith theme.

December 26

Playing with new toys. Nick spent the day with us, and the boys enjoyed all the new Christmas loot. Cooper has his Paulie Walnuts stuffed squirrel toy.

Merry Christmas from the Myers

A Championship Season

The Lee's Summit Waste Management Mustangs were undefeated this season. It started with practices on 102 degree August nights and ended on a magical November afternoon. The season championship was played on the high school field and with lots of hype. John coached the very successful defense. Jackson played left tackle and defensive end.

Jackson and John on the sideline.

Jackson played his 7th season of baseball this summer. (and his second season of fall ball this fall). He is a strong utility player who can play third, left, first, pitcher and catcher. My favorite memory was when he sent one to the right field fence and the team met him at home plate.

A Big Hair Day

Jackson is in the sixth grade.

A Family at the Fair

A van load of Myers, a 103 degree day and a fair full of animals. Joining us were Jackson's friend Matt, and Lauren and Erin.
